How do Veneers affect my gums?

Porcelain veneers have a great benefit to overall gum health. They help prevent gum disease by replacing older dental restorations with smooth, metal free margins.

How long does it take to have my new veneers placed on my teeth?

In your first consultation visit, you have the opportunity to choose your ideal shape, colour and texture based on what is possible in conjunction with your bite and health requirements.

After the design process, impressions are taken of your teeth and a mock smile design is fabricated for you to test drive your smile. Dr. Kassam will then place the new design in temporarily over your own teeth for you to view, and sometimes to try out for a week.

After a few days of your test drive, a follow up consultation is arranged for you to finalize the colour, texture and style of your veneers. One to two weeks later, your custom veneers are ready for placement. Dr. Kassam will try in your veneers over your teeth and check the fit and structure. Once you are happy with the shape, colour, style and texture, he will then bond the veneers to your teeth and finalize your fresh new smile!

Am I still a candidate for Reduction Free Veneers if I already have crowns or veneers?

Reduction Free Veneers can correct many different conditions and can also be used in conjunction with regular crowns and veneers to replace older crowns and veneers or bonding. This is very easily done in our onsite custom laboratory.
